My experience at Above & Beyond gave me a new perspective on math, learning and teachers. I was failing miserably in math, as most Ontario grade nine students do. My confidence  and motivation were gone. I felt completely defeated. That was all regained at Above and Beyond were I was allowed to learn not only math but about diversity, compassion, friendship and Christianity. I am forever grateful to my teacher Mikki White and consider her a life long friend.
